the opportunity to help during this stressful time.

We want you to know that we monitor updates and continue to follow the Coronavirus guidelines from the CDC as well as state and local agencies.
We have installed acrylic sneeze guard barriers in our lobby. Our staff wears protective face masks and for everyone’s safety masks that cover the face and nose are required by all individuals inside the clinic.
Our surgeries have always been performed with medically sterilized supplies, and we have always disinfected throughout the clinic. In addition to our routine cleaning, since the beginning of the Coronavirus pandemic, we have implemented additional disinfection protocols with particular emphasis on contact surfaces like door knobs, restrooms, chairs and examination tables within the clinic.
We have removed magazines and other touchable items, as well as limited seating to help maintain social distancing.
We have modified our clinic appointment hours to allow additional disinfecting to be performed during the weekends.
Our staff washes their hands repeatedly throughout the day, and uses hand sanitizer. Hand sanitizer is also provided in the clinic for the use of our clients.
Reminders are posted outside and inside the clinic to help everyone maintain social distancing and follow the CDC guidelines for safety.
We ask that just one person accompany your pet at the clinic.
Your pet will be evaluated and treated by our veterinarian and staff while you wait in your vehicle, outside the clinic, or socially distanced in our lobby.
For our clients who prefer to remain in their vehicle, our staff is available to bring your pet into the clinic to be seen and treated. To limit contact we can also be contacted by email with concerns about your pets.
We ask that clients who are experiencing any cold or flu-like symptoms, including fever, cough, or shortness of breath, and those who have been in recent contact with others who have contracted COVID-19, to NOT come inside Milwaukie Animal Clinic.
